I have been having a great time at home in West Sumatra, Indonesia spending time with my family, climbing my favorite tree, chasing shrew mice and enjoying the best treat in the whole world (at least according to me) fresh HONEY!! I hope all of you are doing well and I am excited to see where my red air balloon will be taking me next for my new adventure!
What do you think I am looking for behind this bush? You can find out when my first book comes out soon!
I feel really lucky to be able to see so much of the world and because I know not everyone gets the chance to do that, I want to make sure that I share what I learn while I am exploring so you get to experience the world with me. I have learned so many different things and have seen so many different places, but one thing I noticed everywhere I visited were friendly people. Every friend I have met in every country has been kind and happy to share their culture with me!
People want to share their culture and country with others and feel connected. I noticed that many of the countries and cultures seemed so different when I first started learning about them-but as I learned more, I started seeing similarities between the different cultures and how in the end we have a lot more in common with each other than we think. Everyone on Earth wants to eat, live safely, and love our families. I even share those same qualities with you, and I'm a sun bear! We all have differences, but deep down we are very similar and if we try, we can learn to relate to one another. The differences are actually pretty fun too, because they are what makes each of us unique! If we can find our similarities, while respecting our differences, we can unify and make our world a better place!
I made a new video about unity with my friend Lily to help you understand what unity is. I hope that what I can share can help you. If you like it, please share it with someone else you think it can help. That way, we are helping each other, one person - or sun bear 🙂 - at a time!
Also, my good friends in Mrs. Joyce's 3/4J class in Australia just finished watching my video and it inspired them to share when they feel united! I'm so happy to hear from them and share their responses with you (just below my signature), hoping it helps you out too!
I gotta go help my Papa collect figs for dinner, so check it all out and please leave me a comment below to share what unity means to you.
Thanks friends and have a great week!
