Our team is so excited and proud to be a Co-Host for Multicultural Children's Book Day 2019 for the first time! This is our 3rd year as book reviewers for this wonderful non-profit organization that strives to share diverse books, cultures, and characters with families around the world.
We have met so many amazing people and have been able to review and share several interesting and educational diverse books through the eyes of Joy Sun Bear. Just like our travel posts, we share our reviews in a voice that kids can relate to and hope it ignites their interest to read a book that shares diversity.
This year as a Co-Host, we are joined by many wonderful bloggers and educators who are working hard to share several amazing books that would be a nice addition to any book collection. We hope to build awareness of this inspiring organization and message by sharing their initiative and all the diverse authors, illustrators and publishers involved. Being new authors ourselves promoting diversity, tolerance and compassion through our book, we want to celebrate and support other diverse creators who are working hard to do the same. Below is some information from MCBD on how you can help us celebrate and share the beauty and benefit of diversity in literature:
